Job Description
The Law Society of Hong Kong invites applications from candidates with university degree in mass communication or journalism and at least 5 years of working experience to fill the position of Assistant Director of Communications and External Affairs.
The Assistant Director of Communications and External Affairs will have overall responsibilities of handling activities related to Greater China Region and fostering relationship of the Law Society and its counterparts in the said region; organizing publicity campaigns, projects and events promoting the image and the activities of the Law Society; news monitoring; drafting meeting papers, speeches, press releases; and acting as Secretary to the relevant committee/ working groups.
Candidate should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including proficiency in Putonghua), a creative and analytical mind, strong organization skill and experience in event management, communication and interpersonal skills.
