Nakama Global have partnered with a leading digital media provider in search for a highly strategic PR & communications professional to head up their communications team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience across public relations & strategic communications, with a focus on the B2C market.

Passionate about media, tech & digital, the successful candidate will be a native Cantonese speaker (read/write), fluent in English and have strong networks in the PR & media industry.

Responsibilities:

• Devise an integrated communications strategy overseeing budget, deliverables & vision
• Devise strategy to achieve organic & positive awareness across a variety of communication channels
• Manage media inquiries, press releases, interview requests & crisis management
• Direct all public relations & communication activities
• Monitor awareness & provide ongoing reporting on market awareness & equity
• Identify areas for partnership & sponsorship activities, build strong brand awareness
• Direct voice, tone & content strategy for social media channels
• Use events to increase engagement & awareness of brand & activities
• Develop strong relationships with relevant media vendors and industry contacts

Requirements:

• Degree level qualification in business or marketing
• 8+ years experience across integrated communications, across PR, events, media & sponsorships
• Strong knowledge of local Hong Kong audiences & market
• Native Cantonese (read/write) plus fluent English
• Knowledge of China is a plus
• Solid experience in integrated communications, strong written ability & interpersonal skills
