The Opportunity:

We are looking for a passionate Chinese copywriter or social editor depending on level of experience, to help spearhead how we share content and engage with our audience across a variety of digital platforms.  The role will play a key part in growing client’s audience and maximizing social reach and engagement across our millions of existing fans.

Responsibilities:

•Strong command of traditional Chinese in speech and writing, to communicate concepts and universal insights;

•Researches and engages with current strategies that aim to maximize comprehension; fearlessly shares values and references with the broader team; 

•Plan and write unique and compelling digital / social content across variety of digital platforms, including social, with a strong focus on driving traffic and conversion, growing qualified audience, and boosting engagement.

•Create, test and analyze social media strategy across platforms.

•Clearly identify growth and engagement goals for each platform; create, develop, execute and analyze testing programs; and report to the team on a regular basis about what is working and recent test results.

•Plan and manage a dynamic and engaging social calendar of events, content promotions or contests to drive user contributions with community and social media managers.

•Track competitive landscape to identify trends and opportunities within the space.

Qualifications:

•Minimum 2 years of digital / social experience, preferably with digital agency or in a fast-paced newsroom setting.

•Proven experience in writing for campaigns and always on content (digital and social) ; and developing and testing social strategies including hashtags, influencers, time/day and other optimizing tactics.

•Demonstrated track record of growing and engaging audience through social networks.

•Exceptional knowledge of and passion for established and emerging social platforms, trends, and practices.

•Solid understanding of the brands’ mission, voice, and audience.

•Extremely sharp writing and grammar skills, and sound editorial judgment.

•Ability to work collaboratively as well as autonomously.
