The Social Media Manager is responsible for driving engagement and growth in social media for the groups portfolio of brands.  

The role includes developing an overall strategy for social media channels as well as managing relationships with key external stakeholders, including influencers, events and activities that achieve business objectives. From a content and engagement point of view, you are responsible for ensuring that our consumer-facing content program in social media is present, available and connected to the target audience in places, channels and times that they are most likely to be engaged.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a year-round social media strategy
• Working with the Trade Marketing Manager, develop a social media content plan that will reflect the
• Marketing Calendar, updating where necessary to reflect business priorities
• Execute the agreed content plan daily on all identified social media channels
• Create and manage social campaigns against pre-defined objectives.
• Monitor and respond to customer service inquiries on social and email
• Provide on-site social coverage at Events and Tradeshows
• Assist in influencer planning and execution in partnership with PR agencies
• Plan and manage email marketing calendar and briefing process
• Report on monthly social media performance and analysis for key stakeholders
• Administrate monthly budget tracking and invoice submissions
• Deliver social media guidelines and best practices
• Monitor trendsin social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management
• Degree in Marketing or Communications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team player who is excited for an opportunity to learn and thrive within a fast-growing company
• Experience with analytics and measurement evaluation
• Desirable : knowledge of the home/lifestyle industry, Press: traditional and digital/influencers
• Entrepreneurial; ability to drive forward with goals independently
• Strong ability to develop and build cooperative working relationships and collaborate with all levels in the organization
