Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic management of the volunteer resources and database, including individual or corporate volunteers
  • Planning, organizing and executing special projects’ marketing strategies and media-related activities
  • Implementing and managing new website and mobile application for the special project
  • Developing a long term relationship with volunteers, project partners and sponsors to ensure the continuity of volunteer movement
  • Conducting research to understand beneficiaries and volunteers needs and obtain feedback for providing value added services

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Translation or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in corporate communications, media relations, public relations or marketing experience is preferable
  • Experience in NGOs is an advantage
  • Strong in people management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, outgoing and customer-oriented
  • Solid track record on project management in volunteering; experience in community development and/or fundraising projects a definite advantage
  • Strong organizational ability, ability to work independently and perform diversified duties
  • Good computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processing
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Chinese, and fluency in Putonghua required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test
  • Required to work irregular hours, or on Saturdays / Sundays / Public Holidays if necessary
