As a regional entertainment channels team based in Hong Kong, we are responsible for the operation of 4 Asia’s leading general entertainment channels: FOX, FOX Life, FOX Crime and FX, to deliver the best of premium dramas, comedy, reality shows, global award shows and exciting original productions.

 

Aimed at viewers who demand the very best in western entertainment across Asia Pacific, our channels are available in over 94 million homes, reaching 17 countries and territories across Asia including: Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, The Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

 

The Opportunity: Programming Assistant

We are looking for a driven individual who has a passion for TVand is keen to learn about new market trends, the latest competitor offerings and the fast changing industry we work in.To be successful in this role you will appreciate the details and importance of data, planning and scheduling in audience engagement, our channel, as well as business strategy.

 

This role will be based in Hong Kong.

           

Your contribution to the team:

  • Manage the planning and logistics for western entertainment content on linear and non-linear platforms
  • Analyze consumer behavior,cultural variables, market feedbacks and insights to curate shows
  • Work with producers and designers on creative assets: typography, image design and copywriting. Ensure accurate metadata input.
  • Provide digital and social media support to marketing campaigns to align and representation of our channel and brand
  • Work closely with the research team to share viewership data, programming trends
  • Understand our viewer experience and proactively explore different ways to optimize creative output
  • Take ownership of individual assignments and multitask across different touch points in tight timeline

 

Your profile

  • Degree in Media or Mass Communications
  • Must interest in Hollywood drama series and entertainment shows
  • Fluent in English and Chinese both written and speaking
  • 1 year practical experience working with TV / OTT service is an advantage
  • Excel, Photoshop and Illustrator skills
  • Good communicator and team player with strong organizational skill
