Major Responsibilities 

• Develop and design processes in Hospital Information System (Medication Management) and Enterprise Resources Planning System to improve outcome, patient safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness within the entire medication use process.
• Manage and implement interface and integration for Hospital Information System and Enterprise Resources Planning System and all Pharmacy automated dispensing machines and equipment; and develop all the related functional specifications
• Lead and develop drug procurement strategies and policies including sourcing, pricing, inventory and warehouse management.
• Develop functional specifications on clinical decision support system and manage its implementation and interface with Hospital Information System
• Develop financial model for cost efficient sourcing, buying and drug charging for package and non-package plans
• Assist in functional operations and projects as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements 

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and a relevant postgraduate professional degree or equivalent
• Certificate of Registration and valid Practicing Certificate issued by Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong
• At least five years of post-registration experience as a pharmacist
• Experience in private hospital and clinic is preferred
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in Pharmacy IT Systems and MS Office application
• Experience and knowledge in Enterprise Resources Planning System

Compensation and Employment Terms

Appointment will be made on a 3 year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement. Remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience of the suitable candidate.
