GRAIL is looking for a highly motivated, full-time Medical Laboratory Technologist, Part l to join our growing operation in Hong Kong. Under general supervision, the successful candidate will take part in a variety of tasks in on our Laboratory Operations team in Hong Kong.

You will:

• Perform molecular laboratory tests.
• Analyze and validate test results; sign off lab reports.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Ensure good laboratory practices and standard operating procedures.
• Provide support in other laboratory processes when needed, including specimen receiving, inventory management, supplies ordering, equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Participate in Quality Assurance activities, Occupational Safety and Health activities and ongoing in-service trainings.
• Assist with laboratory setup and accreditation.
• Troubleshoot laboratory problems.
• Supervise, train and assess junior staff including MLT Part II and Research Assistants.
• Shift duties may be required (no overnight).

Your background should include:

• Registration with the Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologist Board Part I with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant.
• Minimum 4 years experience in medical diagnostic laboratory.
• Previous experience in molecular diagnostics is a plus.
