JOB TITLE: CDS Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Corporate Development and Strategy

Job Summary

Assist in developing corporate strategies to enhance business value through knowledge of economic and geopolitical environment, market analysis, policy research and technical knowledge. Compose articles and materials to support the communication of the strategies to internal and external parties.

Responsible for executing corporate development projects, liaise with internal and external parties to reach consensus on project scope, specifications and deliverables and drive progress to achieve agreed outcomes.

Job Description/Responsible:

1. Corporate Strategy Development

• Develop model, strategy and business case to corporate development initiatives
• Compose articles and materials to support the communication of the strategies to internal and external parties
• Collect information of latest important developments in all subsidiaries to ensure group level corporate development initiatives are in line with company strategies
• Assimilate corporate information collected into articles and materials to present the latest situation of strategy execution 

2. Market, Policy and Competitor Intelligence

• Keep abreast of latest developments in the market in the areas of innovation, partnership, registration and policy
• Conduct research on key topics associated with potential risk and opportunities against Group’s business portfolio
• Conduct analysis on competitors’ corporate strategies and benchmark internal business with performance indicators

3. Public Relations and Investor Relations

• Maintain up-to-date corporate information and ensure compliance with regulation, accuracy and genuineness in its distribution in the public and non-public domains
• Assist in preparing responses to media and investor enquiries by provide the right corporate and technical information

4. Project Management and other duties

• Liaise with internal and external parties on project scope, resources and deliverables for projects related to Corporate Development or as assigned
• Prepare and maintain project contracts, due diligence documents, confidentiality agreements and other legal documents.

Requirements:

• Educational background in biological science or related field.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English.
• Sensitive to number and analytical with strong communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years working experience, with preference to investment banking, finance, or management consultancy.
• Entry level candidates with strong academic background and passion for the industry will also be considered.
• Fresh graduated will be also considered.
