Job Description

Joint Dynamics is looking for a senior physiotherapist to step into a dual clinical load and leadership position.  In July we will open our second site in Hong Kong (Quarry Bay) and the team requires a physiotherapist with exceptional clinical skills, diverse career experience and an ability to integrate into a team and to provide clinical leadership. 

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to work in a energetic and innovative, multi-disciplinary physiotherapy team treating a variety of clients from the weekend warrior, elite athlete, women's health and adolescents.  The team has a strong emphasis on continuing professional development.

This role will involve working with young physiotherapists and graduates. Only highly experienced candidates need apply.

 

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • 12+ years of experience
  • Proven dedication to continuing education
  • Private practice experience with capability to manage own case load
  • Elite sports physiotherapy, clinic provides support to several sporting teams/events and focuses on athletes as a client base.  Proven experience in sports physiotherapy (for a team, at events).
  • Experience with assessment, pre-habilitation and rehabilitation as evidenced by work with sporting club &/or clientele.
  • Experience with a broad patient base ranging from athletic, paediatric, elderly, chronic clients
  • Experience with training and mentoring of other clinical staff
  • Experience dealing with and effectively communicating with a varied clinical team
  • Dry Needling experience

 

HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER:

  • Experience in Women's Health Physiotherapy
  • Specialist interest in area such as Hand Therapy, Postural Assessment/Correction, Sports Rehabilitation, Lympedema Rehabilitation, Oncology
  • Experience with high level testing equipment and protocols for elite sports people

Position is 5.5 days per week, clinic hours are from 9:00am until 7:00pm from M-F and 9:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday.  Position is expected to be available after consultation hours and Sundays for work at sporting and other events.

Annual leave, sick leave as per the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance - unpaid study leave is available for approved coursework.
