Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the product development of designated product categories
• Clarify and finalize technical files with internal departments
• Communicate with suppliers in mainland China and South Asia and head office in France
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to eliminate open issues and mitigate risks of delayed development production and unapproved changes
• Cooperate closely with internal QC department regarding testing issues during development stage until bulk stage and approving final sample version
• Handle order inquiries including cost analysis and price negotiation
• Develop current suppliers and lift them up to the required level
• Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

• High Diploma or above in Textile or related discipline
• 5+ years of solid working experience in woven items (shirts & trousers), preferably gained in buying office or multi-national companies;
• Familiar with product development procedure and schedule;
• A good team player with sound communication and interpersonal skills;
• Attentive to details and good organization skills
• Good command of English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
