Job Description

As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for handling the company’s sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analyzing the company’s spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending, and chair quarterly business reviews.
  • Generate and implement efficient long term sourcing and category management strategies
  • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease spending, and supply market analysis.
  • Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
  • Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking(competitive teardowns)
  • Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
  • Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers, and suppliers risk management.
  • Global and regional demand aggregation
  • Manage and co-ordinate early supplier involvement in New Product Introduction Project from product design through mass-production, ensure critical timeline met

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of sourcing experiences in Consumer Office products and electronics products.
  • 5-7 years of sourcing experience in Cut and Sewn products such as bags
  • Proven experience interfacing with and establishing commercial relationships with senior management of Office and electronics product suppliers
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
  • Good interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and proven people management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Must be able to travel internationally
  • Professional Diploma or BSC Degree in Business Administration
