Job Requirements :

• Form 7 or above;
• Minimum 3 – 5 years experience in purchasing in manufacturing field;
• Good networking, organization, leadership and negotiation skills;
• Familiar with commercial practices in PRC;
• Ideal candidate should be energetic, resourceful and self-disciplined, independent with a strong sense of responsibility, pragmatic, self-confident and highly motivated; and
• Good command of English & Mandarin Chinese.

Job Responsibilities :

• Sourcing and purchase of raw materials, components and hardware;
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on commercial issues;
• Price/trade terms negotiations and quality claims;
• Travel to PRC to monitor and manage factories;
• Ensure quality of purchased materials and delivery schedules are in order;
• Develop effective supplier’s relationship;
• Liaise with marketing, production and other in-house departments to fulfill purchasing requisitions on time;
• Develop/improve the purchasing system;
• Potential for further development into other area of responsibilities.
