Merchandiser/ Assistant Merchandiser

Our client, a dynamic and strong growing European buying office, is looking for an outstanding candidate to join their team as a Merchandiser/ Assistant Merchandiser.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Ensure production requirements, sample checking and shipment orders are communicated clearly
• Track ordering activities to meet quantity, quality, product specifications and delivery requirements
• Arrange sample delivery for quality inspection before the initiation of mass production
• Liaise between existing or potential suppliers, vendors and internal parties to ensure a smooth and timely merchandise logistic
• Issue related documents, e.g. RFQ, P/O and invoices, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in any discipline
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the field of purchasing/ merchandising
• Experience in sourcing back to school items, stationeries, and travel accessories, etc. is a plus
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• A passionate, hardworking and energetic candidate who can work under pressure and keen to learn
• Willing to travel occasionally is required
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Merchandiser
