Merchandising Manager (Lingerie) job descriptions

• Develop strategic merchandising plan, lead, manage and implement plans with the team.
• Train and guide the team them to achieve the performance targets
• Customers’ liaison in communication and value added services for overseas customers, current and potential businesses, daily.
• Follow up and follow through the overall product development:
• establish quality standards;
• monitor product development;
• meet client’s requirements, quality and product safety standards
• orders process
• To lead and manage a merchandising team to monitor the overall product development and orders follow up process
• Other duties assigned by the superior and / or their designate from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in Textile & Clothing or Garment Merchandising equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in lingerie manufacturing industry of which at least 3 years’ in managerial level
• Relevant experience in US / European Market is a MUST
• Previous exposure in factory environment and good understanding with factory operations is a MUST
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to deal with customers and factories
• Self motivated, well organized, aggressive and willing to work under pressure
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
