Responsibilities:

• Lead in the development and implementation of all sourcing and purchasing activities on behalf of the company’s factories in China
• Working closely with logistics and quality department, with a view to strategically enhancing purchasing, supplier and sourcing quality
• Plan and organize the purchasing of materials, equipments and services required by the operation
• Lead the Purchasing Department in contractual negotiation with suppliers
• Define policies related to supplier screening, selection and control
• Review and implement purchasing strategies to cope with production targets
• Plan and implement cost reduction programs without affecting quality of work

  Requirements:

•  Degree in Business/ Supply chain Management
• A minimum 10 years demonstrated experience in material purchasing or sourcing, with at least 5 years in senior management position, ideally from a manufacturer with operations in the PRC
• Previous exposure to MRP
• Strong management skills
• An established and relationship –based network of PRC-based vendor and suppliers
• Excellent business and strategic acumen with excellent negotiation skills
• Willing to frequency travel to PRC
