This is a temporary position for 3 to 6 months.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up development merchandising activities
• Work closely with vendor manufacturers on sample development
• Responsible for fabric / garment testing co-ordination, matching of samples to specifications
• Work with both internal and external parties to ensure development process is meeting development calendar deliverable dates
• Ensure effective communication between R&D, Development and Production team
• Arrange sample submission for various approval processes. Communicate between designers and vendors on any revision required
• Detail email communication into technical depth and clear communication on risk, delay, follow up etc.
• Update various system (PLM / SAP) with absolute data accuracy
• Provide filing and documentation support
• Assisting product library set up

Required Qualifications

• School Certificate or above, prefer Diploma and above holder in merchandising, textile and relevant disciplines.
• 3 - 5 years above experience in US buying office preferred or large trading business, familiar with multiple systems, charts and reports
• Detail-oriented and able to handle very structured process
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work independently and great team work and collaboration with merchandising teams
• Fluent in English and Chinese both verbal and written. Mandarin is essential
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
