Our client is a fast-growing listed company with substantial developments in property and hotel assets. Due to the expansion of their legal team, they have newly created a Legal Manager position to join the team and provide expert legal advice for the group, as well as on matters related to property.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for all legal affairs with respect to real estate investment / property development activities
• Provide legal advice, identify legal risks to protect the group’s rights and interests
• Ensure all transactions are in compliant with internal and external regulations
• Drafting, reviewing and advising on commercial agreements and contracts
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies or legal counsels whenever necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Law
• Hong Kong qualified solicitor with 5 years of PQE or above
• Excellent knowledge and skills in handling commercial transactions, Hong Kong property transactions, property management matters and settlement of claims and disputes
• Experience and insights on “first-hand sales” ordinance
• In-house experience gained from property developer is ideal but otherwise, experience in construction litigation is also desirable
• Strong business acumen, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Well spoken and written in Chinese and English
