Responsibilities:

²  Formulate and implement strategic merchandising and operational procedures for various teams based on business requirements

²  Review and set KPIs for all teams, generate new procedures when needed and drive changes from time to time

²  Oversees whole merchandising flow including product development, order allocation, vendor management, cost and budgetary control, production coordination and to ensure adequate communication with QC and other departments

²  Promote proactive feedback culture and update Senior Management for any potential issues / opportunities

²  Provide direction to the merchandising staff to ensure orders are delivered on time and to fulfil customer’s requirements

²  Manage initiatives that will positively impact the department goals, including process enhancements and automation

²  Report to VP-Merchandising

 Requirements:

²  University graduate either in Management, Merchandising or Textile or equivalent

²  At least 10 years relevant merchandising experience in handling high fashion woven garments, with at least 5 years in management level

²  Experiences in US Market, preferably working in trading firms and manufacturers

²  Solid experiences in fabric sourcing, product development, costing, manufacturing and production

²  Outstanding leadership, with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills

²  Proactive, aggressive and willing to take challenges

²  Dynamic, organized and quality-conscious, with a high degree of integrity

²  Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

²  Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, and good communication skills

²  Willing to travel occasionally
