Directly reports to the General Manager and is responsible for wholly maintaining and implementing facility and maintenance services of the Club’s facilities which include repairs and maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, waste management, pest control…etc. as well as overseeing all building services related areas of the club facility and its grounds.

The incumbent is also responsible for project management; the efficient operation and repair of the entire mechanical and electrical engineering systems within the buildings and other decorative materials/fixtures of the Club, including the proper maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure their efficiency and optimum utilization. 

Requirements: 

• Eight years of relevant management work experience with at least three years at managerial grade.
• Have a recognised degree or above in Facilities Management/Engineering/Building Services/Building Surveying or other related disciplines plus the possession of in-depth and extensive knowledge of building regulations, building maintenance management and associated technologies in Hong Kong. The candidate will be expected to promote a strong safety culture at the Club.
• The candidate’s ‘skill-set’ to include the ability to organize, co-operate, co-ordinate and complete many diversified projects. Together with a knowledge of but not limited to, landscape maintenance; swimming pool filtration systems; fire alarms; fire sprinkler systems; PA and CCTV systems.
• Must be able to supervise, lead personnel and display excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
• Must be familiar with the various Government Statutory requirements, i.e. BD, FSD, WSD, LCSD, HAB EPD, Labour Department and etc.
• Be pro-active and result-oriented and must be able to formulate/implement plans independently and work under pressure.
• Technical school and apprenticeship with a thorough knowledge of all phases of buildings, kitchen equipment, air conditioning, heating, boilers, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, mechanical drawing and blue print reading will be an advantage.
• Preference will be given to those who are a registered as professional Surveyors and/or with professional knowledge in mechanical engineering.
