Job Description

Our client designs innovative contamination control solutions to address the control of particulate and microbial contamination in pharmaceutical and biotechnology operations worldwide. They have been an industry leader since 1981 and owns over 60 USA and foreign patents.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Cultivate new and expanded sales prospects and customer opportunities to achieve sales growth.
  • Routinely travel to visit new and existing customers and attend relevant trade shows.
  • Identify and properly qualify new business opportunities using available resources.
  • Provide customer support by responding to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Partner with current customers to ascertain current needs/requirements and generate additional sales.
  • Work closely with marketing/business development/manufacturing to recognize and promote sales opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and identify target individuals and organizations.
  • Provide technical support to clients, emphasizing long-term relationships.
  • Promote and position key strategic product and service offerings.
  • Ensure the Sales Forecasting Tool is current and updated with accurate customer and sales information.
  • Routinely pull and reference system reports to identify additional sales opportunities and enhance the pipeline.
  • Develop sales activity plans to optimize sales activities and achieve target sales performance.
  • Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports, and assigned projects.
  • Remain up-to-date on new product development, technology, and services offerings.
  • Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' of successful technical sales experience.
  • Self-starter; motivated, and must be able to work independently as well as be team focused and results-driven.
  • Strong presentation, organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially with customers and senior management.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Access and internal sales tools.
  • Strong technical skills; able to present technical concepts; provide customers with hands on technique using our products.
  • Ability to travel within Hong Kong/Asia region.
