Qualifications

1. Form 5 or equivalent; Diploma/Certificate in related industry or sufficient experience in aircraft industry preferable
2. Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin an advantage
3. At least (1) year working experience in airport essential
4. Mature in nature, good communication and interpersonal skills, good attitude while handling with customers
5. Driving license of class 1& 2 an advantage
6. A good team player with excellent communication, people management and facilitation skills with the ability to drive changes and achieve continuous business improvement
7. Proactive, customer focused and business minded
8. IT knowledge essential
9. Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

Operations Support Officer is responsible to the Operations Controller (OC) for:

• Maintaining security and record of all company, Airport Authority and customer airlines technical documents (Hard copy, Diskettes, Microfilms and CD-ROMs) and update amendments from time to time per Master List provided by customer airlines.
• Maintaining Technical Library security, cleanliness and tidiness.
• Liaising with LMM/DM/OC and all Engineers/mechanics for amendments of all technical documents for read & sign and keep records.
• Maintaining a systematic record of all company & customer airlines flight handling & technical records as provided by MC controllers per 2.6.5.2 in Customer Airline and chronic order.  Ensure all required records are completed and signed.
• Updating the mechanic manpower roster and leave days to cope with flight schedule and operational needs.
• Assisting new projects assigned by the Operations Controllers/Duty Managers/Line Maintenance Manager or his/her superiors, e.g. monitoring/improving the efficiency of manpower utilization, new GSE/vehicles purchasing and EIS, office renovation, other continuous improvement projects, etc.
• Coordinating with AA VEC & HKTD for the application of Class 21 driving license.
• Coordinating the AA “D” endorsement driving written examination.
• Carrying out all clerical work as assigned by OC.
• Escorting company guests for LM Department.
• Carrying out other duties as assigned by the Operations Controller or his/her superiors.
