Head of Shanghai Office 

In this role, you have the opportunity to 
Support the Businesses and Markets in Shanghai; Training, coaching and developing our people in the best practices of daily operation. Thinking across all parts of the End-to-End Customer Value Chain.

Actively drive the adoption and skill development throughout your scope and together with cross-functional department and colleagues. Providing all employees with the opportunity to develop the competences that give them the skills to solve problems daily.

Responsibilities:

Sales

• Explore additional sales opportunities from existing customer base.
• Facilitate new sales lead from counterparts.

Operations

• Implement general policies established by Hong Kong Managing Director and or board of directors; directs their administration and execution.
• Plan, develop, propose and implement specific operational policies, programs, procedures and methods in line with general corporate policies.
• Coordinates the development of SHO short-range operational plan and delivers transitional “plans and actions” reports.
• Develops, maintains and administers a sound organizational plan; initiates operational improvements and structures a plan for their implementation.
• Partner with current incumbent to build relationships with all partners internally & externally.

Development

• Enhance internal product development capabilities in the areas of: structural design, trims and labels development and artwork production.
• Expand current development partners’ capabilities on materials, production processes, cost control measures and quality consistency.

Purchasing

• Ensure supplies are meeting r-pac quality assurance requirements.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance through matrix on cost, quality, capacity and service.
• Implement measures to continuously maintain r-pac market competitiveness.

HR

• Monitors policies relating to personnel actions and training and professional development programs. Executes a human resources audit.
• Develops, maintains and disseminates a basic management philosophy to guide all personnel toward optimal operating results, employee morale and group satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree holder
• 8+ years solid sales experience in packaging, retail or industrial segments or related in Shanghai.
• Demonstrated successful experience in a sales leader position that involved complex project management , implementation and ability to led cross-functional projects.
• Skilled in developing sales penetration, growth strategies and drive execution.
• Self-motivated, independent, excellent negotiation and strong business acumen
• Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Willing to travel in other regions regularly, willing to take some conference calls in the evening with US counterparts.
