Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the quality and safety of all raw materials
• Review and improve the application of raw materials in production
• Coordinate with related functions on the materials usage and planning
• Prepare materials specification and update on a regular basis
• Arrange production trial to confirm the material change feasibility
• Provide support on production issues, including processing procedures, preparation of ingredients to ensure the final products are safe and meet the required quality
• Communicate with colleagues of research & development and various departments to tackle problems, establish objectives and coordinate new projects
• Carry out ad hoc technical projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Food Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the multinational food manufacturing environment, preferred with working experience in China
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese & English, Mandarin is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Chinese Word Processing and Data Processing
• Strong management and supervision skill
• Self-confident, pragmatic, and able to build consensus and facilitate change across organizational lines
• Exceptionally analytical and strategic minded
• Willing to travel frequently
