We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong interest in, and knowledge and experience of ESG, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. The job involves assisting private and public organisations of varying industries to improve their sustainability performance and develop their sustainability strategies. The candidate supports business development, proposal writing and the delivery of advisory projects.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Maintain a strong client focus in designing bespoke engagements to meet client needs and objectives
• Help to grow and develop team services, and produce thought leadership research to maintain and enhance market positioning
• Assist in the provision of expert support and strategic guidance, and in the development of strong client relationships which establish the team’s credibility and instil confidence
• Build in-depth knowledge of client business and stay up-to-date on industry activities, marketplace trends, and best practice
• Participate in client meetings and assist in the design, implementation and co-ordination of advisory projects: stakeholder engagement, benchmarking, disclosure, strategy and CSR policy
• Assist other team members in carrying out projects, helping to ensure quality deliverables while meeting the budget and timeline
• Collaborate with other BEC teams to enhance services 
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary

The ideal candidate will fulfil the following requirements:

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in sustainability related areas; prior consulting and business development experience an advantage
• Self-motivated and organised team-player with strong analytical skills and great attention to detail
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills with experience in a client management or client facing position
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Experience in giving client presentations, leading meetings and facilitating engagements
• Creative problem solver and multitasker with the ability to remain calm and deliver under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong initiative and leadership skills
• Direct project experience in sustainability including reporting, strategy development and data collection, management and analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and Chinese Word Processing
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field
