Job Description

  • Head up demand planning function for HK operation
  • Take care 7 well known FMCG brands
  • Well established system support for data analysis

Responsibilities:

  • Report to Business Manager, responsible for Demand & Supply Planning function independently
  • Consolidate & evaluating forecast by different methodology, such as moving average, exponential smoothing
  • Coordinate statistical forecast with Sales & Marketing team
  • Evaluate gap between projection by actual sales trend & forecast (monthly target) from sales team.
  • Ensure secure supply with minimal inventory level
  • Negotiate with supply planning & production planning to fulfill ad hoc promotion from sales team.
  • Report monthly performance for Management Level
  • Prepare weekly report relating to Demand & Supply Planning

Requirements:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain management or manufacturing environment. Experience in retails or FMCG industry is preferable.
  • Excellent problem solving ability and demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Demand & Supply Planning Manager
