Job Description


Job responsibilities

  • Control cost calculation and update process
    • Share quotation upload rule with each BU to make sure it is clear for everyone
    • Calculate Asia platform target PRIE according to group mark up and margin co-efficient, compare the latest quotation with the target PRIE to find the classification which need to be improved and analyzed deeply
    • Compare the quotations based on previous season and budget
    • Check over abnormal costs evolution in upstream process
    • Update the system PRIA after it is finalized in quotation system
    • Analyze sourcing variation per season once purchase price is finalized
    • Check the total actual seasonal margin whether in line with the forecast
    • Review overhead rate per season and per year to make sure it include the correct related cost
  • Flow up internal procedure about price validation
    • Cross check the final purchase price with the final uploaded quotation according to the nominated timeline
    • Familiar with the current used system, and give value added comments when there is a system upgrade or changes
  • Update standard cost information in FCST, MTP and Budget
    • According to requested time schedule, update standard cost according to latest information
    • Work closely with group controlling to smooth the new cube or function used in Hyperion to improve the efficiency of forecasting
  • Play an active role in the monthly closing process
    • Check monthly margin situation, compared to the seasonal margin to explain the differences
    • Be back up for the business analyst to do the monthly closing
    • Be familiar with all financial and internal control working processes to increase the business sense


Requirements:

  • Bachelor or above in Finance/ Accounting or equivalent with professional accounting qualifications;
  • At least 2 years working experience in financial analysis or costing areas;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English;
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint is a must
  • Good communication with internal and external departments;
  • Active team member and open minded to share and learn;
  • Well-organized, detail-minded, result-oriented;
  • Quick learner;
  • Be able to work under pressure and tight time schedule;
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Junior Analyst.
