Responsibilities

• Reporting to the directors of Spruson & Ferguson Hong Kong, and Regional and Group Financial Controllers
• Supervising a small team of accounting and administrative staff in Hong Kong and mainland China (payroll knowledge in both jurisdictions useful)
• Hands-on all-round finance and management accounting and costing accounting (including preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts between Spruson & Ferguson Hong Kong and its WFOE)
• Preparing annual budget package, quarterly / monthly financial reports (including profit forecast, cash flow forecast, credit control)
• Conducting periodic risk assessment and evaluation of accounting systems as well as driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance with group policies
• Overseeing accounting, financial and taxation activities in both Hong Kong and mainland China and ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance and/or professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA or similar)
• 5+ years of financial management experience (ideally in a professional services firm)A willingness to be hands-on and be proactive in implementing changes
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to details
• Excellent communication skills (both English and Mandarin)
• Strong commercial and business skills, able to advise on strategic and operational issues Good interpersonal skills, team player, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
