RSM Hong Kong’s Risk Advisory Services team provides risk management consulting services that are relevant and focused on our client’s specific requirements, and customized based on clients’ needs and business nature. We help our clients to identify and minimize their risks while simultaneously achieve strategic goals by improving business processes and operational efficiencies, and enhancing corporate governance. We also assist with I.T. Audit Services, SOX I.T. Consulting and Audit Technology solutions. In addition, we provide I.T. consulting services such as third-party attestations (SAS70), Information Security Management readiness, and Technology Risk Advisory Services such as Data Privacy and Security, Business Continuity, and Outsourced Risk.  

Responsibilities:  

• Participate in all kinds of risk and compliance engagements such as internal audit, internal control review, fraud investigation, listing rules/SFO/HKMA/SOX compliance review for MNC, Hong Kong / Singapore listed clients in industries such as retails, manufacturing, media and entertainment, insurance, agriculture.
• Obtain good understanding of business operations, processes and controls, IT infrastructure, etc.; Identify areas of improvement and provide input to management leaders on suggestions to clients.
• Commit to prepare high quality documentation and reports according to work plan.
• Participate in training less experienced staff members (for the post of Senior Consultant). 
• Maintain good relationship with team members and clients.

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in Accounting / Finance / Computer Science / Information System or related discipline.
• Member or finalist of professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP for the position of Senior Consultant.
• Senior Consultant should possess a minimum of 3 years' solid experience of external or internal audit / IT audit / IT technical experience obtained from professional service firms.  More experienced candidates may be considered for the post of Assistant Manager / Manager.  Fresh graduates and less experienced candidates may apply for the post of Consultant.
• Experience with commercial / public sectors which cover general / IT controls, application controls, general network infrastructure controls and data extraction and analysis.
• Familiar with general / IT audit methodologies and requirements.
• Experience in handling general / IT SOX documentation and testing, review of general and application controls, etc.
• Good technical control knowledge on Windows, UNIX, MS SQL, Oracle. Knowledge on ERP system (i.e. SAP, Oracle, JD Edward, MS Dynamics) is an advantage.
• Logical thinker with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Willing to travel.
