Chief Accountant /Finance Manager - Securities/Asset Management Firm (Type 1,2,4,6 & 9) 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
• Maintain control over expenses, income, assets and liability of the company to ensure the assets of the company in a centralized accounting environment
• Assists in implementing and reviewing financial controls and policies
• Conduct month-end closing, monthly Financial Reporting and Annual Budgeting
• Prepare financial analysis, data trends and market information and assist management to analyses costs and control expenditure
• Collaborate with internal / external auditing services for annual auditing
• Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
• Supervise subordinate to ensure smooth operation in Finance Department and all functions are being performed accurately, on a timely basis and ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
• Report to the Director directly

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related disciplines, with recognized accounting professional qualifications such as CPA is preferable
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in securities, futures, financial industry with 2 years in supervisory capacity
• Familiar with brokerage’s and fund accounting and operation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with NAV calculation and various financial products (futures, swaps)
• Familiar with FRR requirement as well as the accounting regulation and practice related to the business of SFC type 1,2,4, 6 and 9
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
• Attention to detail is a must
• Fluent in Mandarin and English is a must
• Immediately available is highly preferred
