Our Transaction and Valuation Advisory Services team comprises professionals from various disciplines and is experienced in advising on domestic and cross-border transactions. We take on the role of an in-house corporate finance team for companies to support their needs in acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and strategic alliances. We offer the flexibility of customizing our services to suit their needs for different stages of transactions. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform business, intangible asset, financial instrument and other types of valuations for various purposes such as transaction, financial and tax reporting, etc.;
• Perform internal valuation reviews as a support to the firm’s audit divisions;
• Write valuation reports and memos, and reports or articles of other financial, analytical projects;
• Perform market, industry and financial research, analysis, modeling as well as other financial, accounting and investment related projects;
• Assist in developing training materials and service proposals.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification or relevant professional valuation certifications such as CFA, FRM and CVA. Candidates at the final stage of these certifications will also be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in audit, valuation, or transaction advisory services from an audit or appraisal firm, or in analytical positions from banks or other financial institutions for the position of Assistant Manager. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Consultant position. 
• Strong English and business writing skills.
• Knowledge in accounting standards, listing rules or valuation standards a plus.
• Knowledge in computing or programming skills for building models such as Monte-Carlo Simulation and binomial tree an added advantage.
• Detail-minded with strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to various client sites if necessary.
