Job Purpose

Perform treasury functions including: cash management, weekly/monthly cash-flow forecast, foreign currency dealings & hedging, fund allocation & liquidity risk management . Develop strategic financial solutions and required credit approval from financial institutions in Hong Kong and Greater China for project needs .Participate in bond issuance preparation works including conducting Due diligence and coordination with financial institutions. Establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform treasury functions including cash flow management, deployment and collection management & treasury reports preparation
• Work closely with investment team on internal funding, financing, and cash management
• Approve fund transfers and monitor cash positions in banks for the corporate as well as funds managed by Asset Management
• Open/ close bank accounts and change of bank mandate as required. Coordinate with bank to review banking facilities
• Provide reporting and analysis to accounting for cash activities, loans, interest expense, loan fees
• Participate in treasury related improvement projects
• Streamline and review workflow and procedure of treasury operations to ensure in compliance with various internal controls and external regulatory requirements

Qualifications

University degree holder in Accounting / Finance or related discipline

Experience/Skills

• Comprehensive experience in treasury operations and cash flow management reporting (preferably in the operations of an asset management organization)
• Good knowledge of Hong Kong/PRC/cross-border banking, funding and regulations
• Strong in arranging corporate funding and well versed in managing and forecasting cash
• Good in mandarin and English
• CFA or CPA qualification is a plus
