Our client, a well-established investment bank to invite high caliber candidates to join their company.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accounting entries to the general ledger system forEDD desks on a daily/monthly basis
• Responsible for the preparation of daily P&L and analysis for vanilla and structured EDDproducts, including ETF, Delta One Product, Options, Warrants/CBBCs & ELN
• Work closely with trading desk, risk management, IT and operations team to ensure accurate P&L reporting and analysis
• Investigate and resolve P&L discrepancies with front office, product control team and accounting team and explain to trading desk accordingly
• Prepare daily and monthly commentary on the P&L of business units including P/L attribution analysis
• Coordinate or formulate control policies and procedures on EDD products
• Support new business initiatives and design P&L reporting for new products
• Liaise with trading desk or middle office to resolve ad hoc issues, including but not limited to trade booking andverifications
• Participate in new system implementation and project management
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Degree holder in finance, accounting or related field preferably with CFA/CPA qualification
• Excellent in MS Excel and VBA is required; experience on Front Arena system and programming skill will be an advantage
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in investment banks/financial institutions
• Familiar with fair value accounting and sound knowledge on various EDD products
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese including fluency in Putonghua
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Accountant
