As part of the Account Payable team, you will be responsible for

• Managing the accounts payable cycle for the local operation;
• Driving key accounts payable processes by working across various internal and external teams;
• Regular maintenance of the Payable sub-ledger to ensure no aging issues &/or unreconciled items;
• Key Gatekeeper of the Vendor Master & upholds related internal control policies & procedures;
• Relationship building with key vendors to resolve payment issues and at best negotiate payment terms in favour of the company;
• Mentors and coaches employees through training, establishment of objectives;
• Communication of policies and procedures as appropriate;
• Able to prepare financial analysis on payables and purchases on adhoc basis;
• Cash flow management such as monthly payment target setting and weekly cash flow forecast to determine borrowing needs;
• Develop &/or maintain cash management structure that best meets the strategic plan & treasury goals;
• Able to deal with banks on funding requirements, fx buy & sell for purchases payment, bank guarantees application.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline;
• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable with supervisory experience;
• Ability to work with a dynamic work environment;
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English;
• Hands on MS excel & power point skills necessary.
