Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounting controls and management reporting, especially on treasury business
• Prepare and update the accounting policy and documentation
• Design the accounting treatment for the new products
• Analyze the treasury products profit and loss attributions and prepare the reconciliation and analysis report
• Participate in HKFRS 9 implementation project
• Prepare the system user requirements and perform UAT
• Ad-hoc projects / investigations

Requirements: 

• University graduate in Finance / Accounting
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in banking industry
• Solid experience in treasury products accounting and control
• Good knowledge of the Accounting Standards relevant to the banking industry (e.g. HKAS 39, HKFRS 9)
• Able to work independently and strong problem solving skill
• Familiar with common PC applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Completed professional examination (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Candidate with less relevant experience but higher academic / professional qualification will also be considered
