Our client is a well-known US luxury apparel retailer with APAC Headquarter located in Hong Kong. In order to compensate their business expansion, they are now recruiting an Accountant to their regional team for business expansion in a team of 5.
Reporting to the AP Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and ensuring global AP accounts and bank accounts are properly reconciled, completed, and ledgers are captured accurately across the board
- Supporting the AP Manager in training and coaching of the Group’s AP processes to Regional offices and other stakeholders
- Reviewing vendor invoices and staff expense for appropriate documentation
- Providing input and review AP vouchers
- Communicating with the APAC Region on payment requests and queries
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and SOX requirements
To be considered a successful candidate, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance related disciplines
- Qualified accountant of HKICPA / ACCA / CPA Australia would be a PLUS
- At least 6 years of professional experience acquired from commercial sector
- Strong knowledge in SAP is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin
