The candidate’s primary responsibilities are to provide financial and operational analysis & reporting to the Asia Pacific region and Corporate functions. This individual will support the Manager in retail reporting, overhead cost management and expense allocation for the region. The candidate will play a key role in supporting the budgeting, forecasting & long-range planning process and providing ad-hoc business analysis and reports.

 Key Responsibilities

• Managing the overhead expenses for Shared Service Division and APAC Corporate Functions. Provide analytical review and identify underlying expense trends and business dynamics.
• Able to communicate with multiple Business Partners on the variance analysis and provide recommendations.
• Liaise and coordinate with different Functions and Divisions to support month-end closing, monthly forecast, annual plan and long-range planning exercise.
• Assist in retail reporting for the region and expenses allocation for the region.

Requirements

• Degree Holder in Finance or Accounting related discipline, preferably with an internationally recognized accounting qualification
• 3-5 years solid financial analysis experience. Regional exposure is a definite advantage.
• Solid experience in preparing financial plans with budget/ forecasting and analytics preferably in the retail environment
• Team player, self-initiated, flexible; works well under pressure of multiple / concurrent deadlines
• Ability to navigate and extract data from general ledger / data warehouse tools
• Fluent in Cantonese & English, Mandarin a plus
• Knowledge in Microsoft AX (or equivalent), and Essbase is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
