Job Duties:

Reporting to the Section Head, the jobholder should perform the following duties:

• Lead or participate in audit reviews focusing on corporate banking business, including the implementation of Internal Ratings Based (IRB) approach credit risk model.
• Conduct audit review on the methodologies, analysis in developing and implementation of the risk rating models.
• Identify key risks and related controls and testing controls to ensure design and operating effectiveness.
• Identify control weaknesses, discuss and agree the observations and recommendations with senior management.
• Prepare audit reports and management reports to senior management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Statistics or relevant disciplines.
• Holder of CPA, CIA or other relevant professional qualifications.
• At least 10 years of audit experience in financial institutions or public accounting firms, with specialized experience in Corporate Banking, Basel Internal Ratings Based Model implementation.
• Solid knowledge in Basel II and III capital requirements, risk modeling requirements for the banking industry. Experience in Basel implementation project and completing the Self-Assessment Questionnaire for IRB approach implementation will be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Strong communication, persuasive and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
