Job Description

Nakama Global have partnered with a leading international organization who are looking for a motivated and engaging Employee Communications Manager to join their team! Responsible for building employee engagement initiatives, the ideal candidate will be a native English speaker, have 5+ years experience in internal communications, and various elements of employer branding but most importantly be a passionate advocate for the company and understand how to engage employees throughout the organization!

Responsibilities:

  • Work with relevant internal/senior level stakeholders to implement internal communications strategy
  • Have strong understanding of company vision & values, and how to promote a culture that supports these values
  • Be able to understand how best to connect with various divisions of the company and ensure that all needs/voices are heard
  • Develop various programs (intranet, EDM’s, events etc) internally to engage while also ensuring
  • Write & curate communication/articles etc
  • Lead communication strategies that achieve various KPIs for employee engagement measurements
  • Promote our client as a leading employer and engage/retain talent

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, journalism or communications/related fields
  • Native English speaker (with Cantonese a plus)
  • 5+ years experience in internal/corporate communications
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills, able to cohesively present, write & edit
  • Proactive, able to work in a team and have strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented, curious about employee engagement
  • Able to work to tight deadlines
