Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team to deliver professional HR services;
- Manage full spectrum of human resources functions, such as recruitment & selection, performance management, employee relations & engagement, talent development & training, compensation & benefits, and HRIS;
- Establish and implement human resources strategies in line with organizational objectives;
- Ensure Organization HR Policies and Procedures are compliant with local regulations, and in line with industry best practices;
- Develop and implement various Human Resources Management Programs to support continued development and management in HR framework. Manage regular review and make necessary adjustment with follow up action accordingly;
- Act as a change agent by turning ideas into action;
- Lead any special HR projects e.g. change of the HRIS;
- Enhance the HR infrastructure, policies and systems for Christian Action Representative Office in Qinghai, PRC
- Support management by providing human resources reports, advice and counsel etc;
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline;
- HR generalist with min. 15 years of experience with which at least 10 years in management role of multi-national/medium size organization, exposure form NGO & PRC will be definitely advantage;
- Excellent strategic management, analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, executive & multitasking skills;
- Initiative, detail-minded, committed and strong sense of responsibility;
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, Employment-related Ordinances and HRIS are essential;
- Be comfortable with change and working in a dynamic & fast paced environment;
- Be able to cultivate and pursue Christian excellence in our work and align with Christian Vision, Mission and Core Values of Christian Action;
- High proficiency in both English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Immediate available is definitely an advantage

Christian Action was established in 1985 as a Hong Kong registered charitable organisation. Our mission is to serve those who are poor, disadvantaged, marginalised, displaced or abandoned, aiming to give them
hope, dignity and self-reliance. Our service recipients include underprivileged children and youth, the unemployed, low-income families, ethnic minorities, refugees, migrant domestic workers, as well as orphans and abandoned children in Qinghai; we also run
social enterprise programmes. Our services are based on the example of Jesus Christ to serve all people regardless of their age, gender, nationality and religion.
