Role overview

The HR Manager APAC will provide a full generalist service to TBR.  Reporting to the General Manager APAC you will be instrumental in regional execution of our global people and culture strategy.

You will directly support a full spectrum of HR projects as well as ongoing management of day to day fundamentals such as, recruitment, absence tracking, policy, performance management, rewards and benefits, grievance and discipline.

This is a very fast passed role working with personnel at all levels, in particular the General Manager APAC so it’s imperative the right candidate is able manage a busy workload, meet deadlines and build effective relationships.

The HR Manager APAC will be resourceful, with excellent communication and leadership skills.


Main Responsibilities

To grow global champions and enhancing our ‘all in culture’, empowering people to thrive personally and professionally.  Delivery this by focusing on:


Corporate strategy

  • Support the overall corporate strategy, in delivery of people and culture strategy regionally in conjunction with the General Manager.



Day to day

  • Provide full spectrum of support to APAC office, payroll, MPF, leave management, employee relations case work
  • Assist in recruitment and section of new hires including onboarding and induction
  • Complete regular HR reports such as staff turnover, attendance, lateness etc. as requested by management
  • Liaise with internal and external parties for daily HR operation and administration



Governance

  • Keeping TBR safe by keeping up to date with labor laws and impact on the region. Informing company Directors and key stakeholders on any risks or changes,

Professional qualifications

  • Relevant HR qualification



Experience

  • 5 years HR experience within APAC region
  • Creation and execution of people and culture strategy
  • Developed and led high performing remote leadership teams
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Operated in a fast-paced growth environment
  • Travel industry experience is preferable
