Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Establishes HR departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals;
  • Keeps management informed and advises recruiting/training programs to empower a superior workforce;
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves problems;
  • Develops an annual budget and provision for the HR department to support the company’s business goals;
  • Manages the development and maintenance of the Human Resources sections of both the company website, particularly recruiting, culture and the employee Intranet;
  • Keeps the CEO and the executive team informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals, and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level;
  • Utilizes the eHR system to eliminate administrative tasks and maintains every employee’s records;
  • Leads the implementation training programs, assists managers with the selection and contracting of external training programs and consultants;
  • Conducts investigations of employee complaints. Reviews, guides, and approves management recommendations for employment terminations;
  • Monitors, advises and measures managers/supervisors the performance of progressive discipline system of the company;
  • Establishes the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises;
  • Leads competitive market research to help recruitment, and retains superior staff; 
  • Leads company compliance with all government regulations and maintains minimal company exposure to lawsuits.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organization Development; 
  • A minimum of 5-year managerial experience in Human Resources positions; 
  • Specialized training in PRC employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety and training; 
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills; 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members; 
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the executive management team that provides overall company leadership and direction; 
  • Excellent organizational management skills; 
  • Good command of written and spoken communication skills;
  • Willing to stay in China plant on weekly basis.
