Job Description

Intro:

Seadon is a new outdoor apparel company that offers sustainable products to those who share our love for the outdoors. The word Seadon, is an English name, meaning 'From the sea, by the land', which pays homage to our mother nature and all that it provides.

General Summary:

The HR administrator is a member of a team of individuals whose role is to support the business with their general understanding of the company's internal operations and interests, in particularly with day to day admin, recruitment, communication (including customer services) and training of personnels. She/he will work towards an intimate understanding of the company and apply effective solutions across the HR sector.

 

You role:

  • Work closely with founder to come up with an effective and organised HR system to process records such as recruitment, payroll, employee information and other personnel files.
  • Integrate and provide support in bookeeping using existing system (Google Drive). 
  • Scout new location in Hong Kong for office expansion. Provide logistics support where viewed necessary.
  • Conduct day to day admin tasks, while keeping to date with the calendar and its deadlines.
  • Research and recruit talents based on company's requirements.
  • Build relationships with fellow members and schedule regular communication with founder to best understand the needs of each member of the team.
  • Responsible for the management of the off-boarding process for exiting employees and related tasks.
  • Other duties as required.

  

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in business administration or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll and recruitment management, with experience working in HRIS systems.
  • Strong computer (Excel, Word, HRIS system and Gsuits) and research skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.  The ability to write clearly and persuasively in addition to defining problems and articulating solutions within a group setting.
  • Participation, understanding and working knowledge of the sports that the Company produces products for.

 

Bonus

  • You have working experience in the clothing industry.
  • You are an active person and are already participating in different outdoor activities (Hiking, climbing, running, yoga etc...).
