Responsibilities:-

• Development, implement and monitor health and safety management plan for the group catering needs of all business units including factories in the Group
• Build professional relationship with business units and supports all levels of operations in promoting health and safety awareness and culture
• Provide mentoring and coaching to operations personnel to implement safety procedure and ensure compliance to statutory and company requirements
• Conduct onsite audit and inspection to critically review current practices and standards and share best practices to drive for continuous improvement
• Act as lead investigator for serious incidents and review incident reports to report findings and recommendations plan for improvement/remedy
• Track changes of regulations and business operations and work with business units to implement corresponding safety measures
• Liaise with external parties including government authorities, legislative bodies, industry groups, contractors on safety matters
• Lead safety representatives of business unit to support Group Health & Safety functions as required

Requirements:-

• Degree or above
• Registered Safety Officer
• At least 8 years relevant experience with 4 years post registration experience
• Experience in large scale orginaization / factories is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge with related regulations and legal procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
• Team player with good leadership ability
• Conversant with MS Office application
