Our client is looking for a Procurement Officer  to join their team to support office clerical duties.         

 Job Description:

• Proactively gather internal clients’ procurement needs, develop and implement procurement strategy
• Work with internal clients to define requirement, source suppliers, conduct tendering / evaluation / negotiation and award of contract
• Provide advice to internal clients’ on procurement related policies and procedures and best practices regarding purchase activities, tactics and contractual terms
• Ensure that related documentation complies with approved policies and standards
• Work with details and proficient in data analysis and result oriented
• Support corporate procurement initiatives

Job Requirement:

• A university degree in Engineering, Procurement or Business Disciplines
• A professional qualification in Engineering / Purchasing / Supply Management would be an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in (I.T) :electricity transmission and distribution system would be an advantage
• Adequate knowledge in established procurement procedures, standards and guidelines
• Knowledge and experience of SAP would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of common office computer software such as MS Word and Excel
