Our client is one of Hong Kong's long standing commercial banks with an Asian influence and Greater China presence. They are currently looking for their Head of HR for their future succession planning.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead a very sizeable team in Hong Kong. You will lead the bank's HR departments, including talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, talent management, HRIS and financial planning of the department. You are responsible for developing and implementing HR initiatives in line with organisational objectives as well as contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and C-suite talent acquisition. Last but not least, you will lead the development of company well-being, health and counselling policies as well as analysing employee feedback and data with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture.

To qualify, you should be a degree holder in Business Administration or Human Resources related subjects with at least 15 years of executive management experience. You should have a broad HR functional capabilities, ranging talent management to learning and development. A strong track record of building excellent relationships and credibility with senior Executives is essential. You should be able to identify stakeholder needs and deliver tailored HR solutions as well as aligning critical elements of structure, process and routines to implement key changes. Experience in leading HR in an established organisation that demonstrates world-class HR practices is preferred. Fluency in Cantonese and English is essential.
