The role

Due to growth and increased volume of work in Hong Kong we now need a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team to help build out the groups candidate base through a mixture of CV searching, advert writing database management, market research and administrative support.

You will learn on the job and be treated as a key member of the team, from day one.

Unlike some researcher or recruitment resourcer positions you will not be expected to cold call or generate revenue. The role is very much supporting the business in order for it to deliver on the mandates we are working on for our clients.

Day to day duties will include but not limited to:

Daily searching and sourcing of relevant candidates on listed job boards and other sourcing tools such as LinkedIn

Briefing candidates and sending out job specifications

Adding candidates profiles to our candidate database

Continuous ownership, management and ensuring all candidates details are up to date on our candidate database

Running bespoke candidate searches on our candidate database and managing candidate hotlists

Tracking recruitment activity on our candidate database for all vacancies

Basic candidate information gathering via phone, email and meetings.

Creating Job Advertisements

Utilising numerous different platforms from social media for both branding purposes and candidate attraction

Processing candidate documentation and Right to Work

Coordinating and organising candidate interviews and team meetings

Using LinkedIn for market mapping

Ad hoc Market Research

What we are looking for:

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and efficient. Similarly, time management and prioritisation will be of equal importance. In this context, the role will work to a high intensity; for example you are likely to be searching for candidates, writing job advertisements, sending job specifications and uploading CV's to the candidate database at the same time.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential in order to perform the role well.

Recruitment experience is not a prerequisite. We will provide all training on both recruitment processes and methodologies, as well as the relevant market knowledge, but those competencies of; organisation, administration, conscientiousness and applying said competencies in a fast paced, high intensity environment certainly are.
