Main Purpose of the Job

Working as part of the HR team, this role provides professional HR support in the development and delivery of the people plan, transactional elements of HR and interventions to get the right result for the internal client.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor will work collaboratively within the country HR team to support the D&E business and continually improve the HR proposition and service.

Job Description

• Responsible for partnering with D&E to deliver the People Plans and provide proactive advisory and guidance direction on people issues, implement action plans focusing on vital opportunities to provide HR solutions that add value or mitigate risk.
• Working with Centres of Excellence, such as Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, , HR Shared Service Centre, Compensation & Benefits to provide a wide range of HR Services to stakeholders.
• Management of change initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures, redundancies, redeployment and project/office closures.
• Coach, support and build capability in operational and senior managers to manage the employment relationship effectively.
• Facilitate of annual pay review and bonus processes working in conjunction with the C&B team to ensure a successful implementation in-line with company guidelines, timescales and appropriate benchmarking.
• Support of annual and mid-year performance review process to ensure a successful implementation in-line with company guidelines and timetable.
• Introduction of new HR related interventions where required.
• Conduct HR analysis and generate management report on periodical basis that to support the management decisions on the HR issue.
• Additional ad-hoc projects and duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
• At 5 years’ relevant experience in Human Resources, a proven track record and experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrable knowledge of HK employment ordinance and visa application procedure.
• Solid HR generalist experience with a commercial business environment.
• Communication skills and customer focus.
• Strong team player, adaptive and proactive attitude.
