Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with HR Business Partners and provide recommendations on salary proposals in accordance with the company’s reward strategy and policy
  • Administer the annual bonus and salary review process for central services office and China plants
  • Provides recommendations on various pay actions (job offers, promotions, equity increases, bonus buyouts, etc.) utilizing survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data as appropriate
  • Train HR Business Partners and line managers in the compensation area (pay-mix training, bonus matrix development, job sizing methodology etc.)
  • Support in the review and forming of C&B policies and guidelines, e.g. salary structure and pay review policy
  • Involve in the development and implementation of C&B initiative and projects, e.g. incentive schemes, M&A harmonization, pay analysis and market benchmarking etc.
  • Plan and coordinate market survey participation, compile and analyze survey data, and keep abreast of external market pay trend
  • Contribute to Intra-China Secondment policy management, including being familiar with and providing input to policy-related issues, and using related materials and knowledge of tax and regulatory environments and market practices as inputs into executive compensation packages
  • Performs job sizing/job evaluation (slotting) utilizing traditional and/or levelling chart applications and recommends salary grades for new or revised jobs that have impact over the country/region
  • Liaise with external vendor and HR counterparts to manage employee benefit program in China
  • Support and participate in the annual budget exercise and forecast budget for salary & other benefits
  • Work with local, regional and global teams on C&B projects as required

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of C&B related experience in sizable multinational organization
  • China exposure is absolutely essential for this role
  • Strong analytical skill and details oriented
  • Experience in managing compensation and benefits initiatives in China
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese/Mandarin
