Job Description

The Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation (HKSR) is looking for an inspirational and passionate HR leader to help assist the organization to move into a new phase of development to face real challenges arising from a new five-year strategic plan, staff succession planning, and needs for new talents due to major capital works and IT transformation, etc.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the Head of HR / Senior Manager (HR) is an HR professional practitioner who will spend his or her energy to transform a traditional charitable non-government organization like the HKSR into one with the best and modern practices in full spectrum of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in organizational transformation, nourishing a corporate culture for organizational development and enhancing staff’s potential and competence, advising the top management on HR strategies, updating HR policy, establishing a new Human Resources Information System, identifying talent gaps, making recruitment strategies, and reviewing salary scales.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in HR Management or other related disciplines;
  • Extensive exposure to human resources management;
  • Demonstrable leadership abilities and proven track records in leading an organization to transform its HR practices;
  • At least 10 years work experience in which 5 years in managerial level;
  • Experience in establishment of a new HRIS system;
  • Experience in committee work preferred;
  • Professional qualifications such as membership of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management (HKIHRM) or equivalent preferred;
  • Well-versed in labour legislation in Hong Kong, with PRC labour legislation as an advantage;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Excellent command of written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Senior Manager (HR).
